Text message terms
What we text you about, how often, and how to stop.

What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with anyone for their own marketing.
- We do not send promotional or marketing texts.
- We do not text people who did not give us their own number on a quote form.
How you opt in
Texting you is optional, and it is never bundled into submitting the form or into accepting these terms. On the quote form there is a separate checkbox, unticked by default, that reads:
“Text me about my quote. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.” with links to these text terms and to our privacy policy.
You are opted in only if you tick that box yourself and then submit the form. Leave it unticked and we never text you. Your request still reaches us and we will still call you about it. Consent to be texted is not a condition of getting a quote or of having the work done.
You can also start a conversation yourself by texting (419) 517-4649. Doing that is its own opt-in for that conversation, and STOP ends it the same way.
What we send
Messages about the quote you asked for, and nothing else:
- Confirming your request and what we need to price it, usually the size and a photo.
- Answering your questions about pricing, timing and what the work involves.
- Agreeing a day to come and measure or to do the work.
- Letting you know if weather moves your date, which in this trade it sometimes does.
Some of these replies are written by an automated assistant, and it says so. It answers from our own published pricing and terms, and a person is behind it either way.
How often
Message frequency varies, because it is a conversation rather than a broadcast. It is usually fewer than ten messages about a quote. We do not text between 9pm and 8am your time.
Cost
We do not charge you anything for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile carrier.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@toledosealcoating.com.
Opting out of texts does not cancel a quote request you already sent. We may still call you about it. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
